How to properly recognize two shooting stars...
When Chris first inroduced the concept for the Trinity Series to me there was excitement, hope, and plenty of note taking in this house. I bought pens, journals, icepacks, and cases of coke. He had been through a lot. When I say a lot, I mean a LOT. If you have lived with someone who had endured chronic pain for years then what I am about to tell you will come as no surprise. Perseverance falters. Will fails. You become increasingly frustrated at the system and life in general. You start to question your own sanity. The stages of grief kick in. Why did this happen to ME? Why am I here? What do I do now? What does the future hold? Your mind thinks of 'weird' thoughts. If you're lucky you will find your way to the other side. The peaceful mornings and nights are replaced with grunts and groans, trips to the doctors, and a lot of faded days. In-between that you search for a meaning, a purpose.
He found it. He is one of the lucky ones. The one who will always prevail and persevere no matter what life throws at them. Cobalt was a happenstance that was a one in a million shot. Like the Phoenix rising up from the ashes, he was reborn into a brand new world. Then Bradetta and Cindy came along...
Bradetta Doyle-Vines was the missing part of the equation, as was Cindy Calloway. There is now a sense of renewed hope in this house and a puzzle that no longer has missing pieces. The eye twinkle has returned and is replacing the montonous everyday doldrums of existance. Excitement has returned as we round the corner of Crimson and head into Heliotrope. Proudly we live the next chapters of our lives knowing that he has someone next to his side that cares about his work as much as he does. Someone else who is as excited as he is to see a dream come to life. We couldn't be happier to introduce you to two people who we sit and talk about as if they were lifelong friends.
